Totally the sh!t
In an earlier life, I was an ASL interpreter. Hardest, most challenging work I've ever attempted. Even if my flesh is no longer willing, the thrill is still there at the power and beauty of ASL and its Deaf community. In that community, interpreters are mostly on the edges. I can sign the tiniest little bit, and I know the alphabet. I really would love to learn ASL fluently.
