Thanks to angelictroublemaker for linking me to this video: a baby seal hesitating about slipping into the frozen ocean, and making "cry baby" noises about it. That's wonderful enough, but the captions are hysterical.
Now that I've seen the context for it, the video looks different. I'd be yelling too if I were on my own to get food while lying on ice with icy water in front of me. Poor thing was probably really hungry!

captures the weirdly liminal world of a seal. It's amazing that they can survive in the freezing ocean and in the freezing desert above. I love how tightly their noses squeeze together.
