Why Bella, Why?
Spring has actually arrived! The maple trees are dropping green pollen all over the streets, there are teeny buds on the oaks, the tulips are in full bloom, and we're due for a freeze tonight.
Bella is delighted that the earthworms are wiggling their way into the sunshine. She likes to gnaw on them for a while and then rub the mess on her face.
How's the progress of spring in your corner of the planet? Do your pets do disgusting things?

Spring is otherwise delightful, though!

Because our house has so many large windows, we have a problem with birds flying into the windows and either temporarily stunning themselves, or killing themselves (fortunately only for a few weeks in the spring and in the fall). At the sound of a bump Lucy runs immediately to the window and starts making the chitter noise that means "I see prey and I want it!" She also does this when there are birds outside doing birdy things, which means, a lot of the time.

The fuzzy in the icon always got extra super sniffity curious when spring arrived. Everything was new and interesting, and his nose knew it! I used to tell him he had spring fever.

Aw, Bella. The pup we've been walking, Pup A, discovered some animal vomit--which I did not initially recognize because I am a city girl and don't know what to look for--and proceeded to try to eat it. YUCK!
Ah, dogs. They're such dogs. M.

... why do I have no cat icons? I really need to fix that.
