Hooray! Out into the world again.
I'm so grateful that MyGuy had an easy time, that maintaining adequate isolation wasn't that onerous, and that I didn't get it (yet).
Now I can go back to the pool (full of highly vulnerable people, so I was super cautious).

I thought the picture looked familiar - Flowflex are the brand I'm using. So much easier to use than the ones available 2 years ago.
There have been a parade of different manufacturers
These are easy to read, but stripping the tiny foil cap off the saline tubes is annoying.
I hope you've never seen a positive one in your house :,)
Re: There have been a parade of different manufacturers
With the original NHS ones I was supposed to snap or twist the end off a capsule. I usually used scissors. Out of 14 attempts I had 3 failures, because I couldn't get enough liquid out of the capsule and into the extraction tube. Peeling the foil cap off the extraction tube is an easier dexterity challenge for me, and I haven't had any failures.

Yes, the ones where I had to cut though a plastic tube were over the top.
I may whine, but I do have a two pairs of lightweight needle nose pliers in my kitchen drawer, and they come in very handy for grabbing thing things. Woman is a tool-user! (And also crows, to my astonishment.)
