Ugh
We have survived bad times before with mutual aid.
Still maintaining my news wall.
I appreciate it when people tag relevant content with "politics"
People with paid DW accounts can filter posts by tags
Tags: Show only content that is labeled with a certain tag or tags, or only content that is not labelled with a certain tag or tags (people sometimes refer to this as "blocking tags").

Anyway, tag added, will use going forward.
Your DW Pride rat is THE BEST!
Thanks for the filter, and I just discovered a quirk: the "which tags" setting applies to an individual as a member of a filtered list (including a "default" list), not to the username.
More deets in next post.

Thank you for this tip.

I started using the politics tag as requested. I will do my best to keep doing so, and I’m worried I’ll space on it sometimes. Occasional reminders welcome.
I’m wondering if it’s helpful to apply it to ”here’s how to support each other” type posts too, that more generally refer to hard times?
Thanks for the good thoughts!
I don't want to be the boss of your tagging. I regret that my post didn't make that clear. Browsing 200 subscriptions taught me how variously people tag their stuff!
I certainly appreciate "how to cope" information. I'd be sorry if I missed your sage wisdom in such posts. I use boundaries & coping for topics like "here's how to support each other."
In the case[1] that I was describing how I found my place in a group advocating to overturn some horrible new federal policy, I would tag it with both politics and boundaries & coping.
note 1: current me can't imagine being able to do this, but/and I hope that some future me will
