sasha_feather and agreeing that TPTB's insistence on never resolving the romantic tension between Max and Logan was an esthetic error.
I realized it's such a common trick--keep the lovers apart to keep the viewers hooked--that it deserved a name: narrative hymen
Now it's off to TV Tropes to see who got there before me :,)
(And Dark Angel did such a good job showing Max & Logan working as equals; getting through the glitter stage and on to the working partnership stage would have been awesome.)
