Soothing Cuteness: Seven Golden Labrador Retrievers are On The Job

Video shows six puppies squeezing themselves into a shallow round plastic tray that’s barely an inch bigger than any one puppy’s span from front to back feet. They start with puzzle pieces, advance to wiggling, and finish with frank laying on top of each other.

DogNamedStella is an all-platforms phenomenon (you can find her by name on any social service). Admire this YT video supercut of her interactions with her human baby, aka "the bald puppy." Baby is bubbly, chubby, and totally melow: old enough to sit up but not yet walking. Stella is a big yellow lab—easily 80 lbs—and fabulously gentle: licking the baby’s bald head, permitting tiny fingers in her mouth, accepting random thwaps and hugs. The added joy here is the open subtitles: while baby emits giggles, squeaks, and almost-words, the subtitles provide off-kilter translations.
