I'm Not Going to WisCon, and I Hope To See You

I decided to take a mental health break from WisCon this year.*

Because fast forgetting is one of my superpowers, I've never been comfy in IRC, chat, or Twitter. But hashtags make the infinite firehose searchable, so I'll be following along on WisCon39, the #wiscon39 hashtag and the panel-specific hashtags.

My plans involve staying in town, sleeping ten hours, showering three times a day, and watching Twitter. I'd love to join in a dinner, or meet you at the hotel for a st/roll or tea or whatever—reply here, or DM jesse_the_k to my phone.

* (Not a political statement. I'm excited for the new concom, and I'm sure that y'all will have a great time!)

As an FYI, I think the official account was suggesting people use the hashtag #wc39, as it saves characters. Might want to add to your search!

Yeah, I hid the hashtags under the link, which is a Twitter search request in the form of:

Web Twitter lets one save a search; don't know if your Twitter client offers that nifty feature.

Sadly the reviews of the NEW! Concourse menu were disappointing, but salad bars are reliable.

Are you booked for Thursday dinner? My plane arrives at 1:20 on Thursday. I don't want to miss the Room of One's Own readings, since I have to miss most or all of the Guest of Honor speeches, but would you like to have dinner with me before or after? Or suggest some time Friday or Saturday?
