Styling Help?

Apologies if you've been looking at my journal this afternoon.

I have been cluelessly dinking around with the styles, attempting to make it look the way I want.

I have no wizzywig editor, and NO IDEA what I'm doing.

If any reader cared to hold my hand on this, I would be exceptionally grateful.

/diving back down the rabbit hole.

What are you trying to do? (not that I'm much of an expert on anything)

Messing with letter- & line-spacing as well as alignment

I can probably help you. I'm not great with design but I know the styles code really well (I wrote quite a chunk of it). So if you tell me what you want it to look like I might well be able to guide you through it.

I used to be a typesetter and I'm familiar with CSS as a concept, so I'm good with the design. It's trying to identify which named elements need redefining that's making me twirl in circles.
