My lost wallet arrived in the mail today
Wednesday, 28 February 2018 05:47 pm...which kinda breaks my brain.
There is goodness in the world, as there is in each of you.
The whole deal--all the cards, all the cash, even the coins--which I'd left at an Albuquerque WalMart cash register 13 days ago.
No return address.
What is the appropriate celebration?

Date: 28/02/2018 11:54 pm (UTC)I mailed someone's journal back to them once. Found it in a national park, and it had an address in it. Don't think I put a return address on it. Interesting to see the other side of something like that.
Good to be reminded that our small acts of kindness make a big impact.

Donate some money to a local foodbank or other meaningful-to-you local charity?

The Philadelphia Community Bail Fund might also be worth a look.

Date: 01/03/2018 06:49 am (UTC)To celebrate, I vote random act of kindness (in person/in kind, or a donation to whatever fundraiser, cause, or organisation seems right to you) but also pizza or ice cream or whatever you like to eat when you're celebrating.

Date: 01/03/2018 10:58 pm (UTC)So I'm thinking the best (or another?) thing you could do is write to various public officials, especially ones like Our Leaders who decry the good in people, and just tell them the story. Or find someone with a major FB or Twitter following to retell it, with the spin you put on it ("People try to tell us this doesn't happen, but it does.")
