I love putting shiny things on strings. I'm particularly fond of freshwater pearls and semi-precious stones, and I'm often told my work is unique. When I'm wearing my jeweler's hat, I'm "OK Ideas."

The busy staff of OK Ideas has assembled more than sixty items, so we're going to be at the
Madison Bead Society Show & Sale
this Saturday, 8 Nov 2008, from 10a - 5p
Westgate Mall
Odana Rd at Whitney Way, one block south from Metro's West Transfer Point

I try to make sizes for all people, with particular focus on decorating larger bodies. I'm happy to take commissions.

Afternoon in Rajasthan—16.5 inches—$19
Five delicate strands of tiger eye cubes gently sway from a comfortable choker. Photo description: Five strands of tiny golden beads with 3mm brown and yellow chatoyant semi-precious cubes scattered every inch, (framed by tiny cream and black beads). Two primitive unglazed brown beads conceal the juncture strands between these five shiny strands and the single strand of large black matte seed beads closed with golden snap-and-ring clasp
Madaket Bangle—7 inches—$24
Exceptionally comfortable bracelet marries an antique chevron bead with freshwater pearls and Czech glass. Strung on slightly stiff beading wire and closed with a very sturdy magnetic fastener, it has the comfort of a bangle but is much easier to get on. Photo description: Quadrilaterally symmetrical circle of beads framing single chevron bead comprising approx 50 layers of white, blue and red glass filed away to reveal bold V patterns. Each quadrant contains 5 cranberry and white swirled rondelle beads, one plump freshwater pearl, seven Bali silver spacers, and two clear matte beads
Trantor Soiree—sterling earwires—$24
Freshwater pearl, Bali "love knot" and Czech glass evoke an upscale Dalek's jewelry hoard. Photo description: Dark gray peacock pearl with iridescent highlights, atop a doubled silver rolling ring, atop a truncated black matte pyramid, forming a slightly-humanoid profile
Edited because I forgot the photo description! Oh noes!
