Curate Your DW Reading with Subscription Filters

More DW activity is great, and all this content increases the chance that I’ll miss something.
Subscription filters to the rescue!
Here's a public filter which contains all the Sherlock-Holmes-related communities and authors I know of here:
https://jesse-the-k.dreamwidth.org/read/sherlocks
Do let me know what I missed.
I also made a private filter for just the folks who post monthly or less.
Visit the manage my filters page
Name it—I chose exquisites
Deploy it: select it from the drop down menu at my reading page or from the navigation strip at the top of styled pages.
The drawback is Dreamwidth only shows the last 14 days. Thanks to my paid account I can browser earlier. I append
?date=2018-01-01
to the URL. Then page forward through the year.
Putting it together:
https://jesse-the-k.dreamwidth.org/read/exquisites?date=2018-01-01
Since I've set this private, you won't be able to read from that link.
Every December Dreamwidth has a sale on paid time! Ten percent off in the shop!

Date: 2018-12-23 07:25 pm (UTC)Perhaps I'm unreasonably annoyed that the one small feature change/bug fix I requested has never been done, but it makes me not want to pay them. (My posts default to access-only - that's the way I want it. But "everyone" is greyed out, apparently intentionally, which means I have to edit the post if I want to make it public, every time. *sigh* Default to access-only Does Not Mean disallow public!)
"Annoyances" are never "reasonable"
Date: 2018-12-23 10:05 pm (UTC)That would irritate me as well.
Did you know there's a command-line interface to DW? Don't know if there's a command that would do what you need, but

I am most proud of these three:
