After three years of drooling, I treated myself to one of Torontonian Catherine Crowe's fabulous enameled jewelry pieces. You can spend many a happy hour admiring her artistic variety at her Imago Corvi site. As befits a WisCon Art Show Artist, her work is closely tied to mythology and stories.
This is the piece I decided on, the "Spirit Selkie." Out of the water, they're wobbly; they don't look particularly well-suited to their environment. In the water, however, they move beautifully and skillfully.
