An organization I'm a member of is using groups.io; I think the pricing scales based on the size of the mailing list, but I don't remember whether there's a free option for small lists like yours.

Very nice service! I sprung for direct adding for one month, which lets me support the service with no long term commitment. Their email controls are beautifully granular, and the web experience seems grand.
