Yep! Also amazingly overpriced -- $679 just for the frames. So fun to contemplate but I don't think they'll be appeared in an icon near you any time soon.

Youch! The one's you're wearing are cute tho! I'm tremendously lucky in that I have a tiny baby head and so have to buy children's glasses, which are much, much cheaper even with designer frames.

My best-fit-so-far glasses are 42 ☐ 24, which are just on the outside of the kiddie lines.

haha I had to pull out an old pair of glasses (and a magnifying glass) to read the size on my favorite frames, which are 46 ☐ 15 125. I have no idea what that means, of course. But these are child's frames. I only paid $60 for them and they're Polo!

And yours are probably a lot less breakable than mine. (This all started because my daily glasses in icon broke and are no longer made.)

Ah, you have the tiny bridge size! I've got a bigger bridge because a) eyes are further apart and b) I need squishy "cushion eye pads" so the weight of my super thick lenses don't drill holes in my nose.

Which of course leads to a site claiming to replace any nose pads with an aftermarket no-pressure design. I'm dubious.

I started using zenni optical several years ago, because their frames are cheap enough to be worth the inconvenience of not actually trying them on. They have a lot of green frames.

My single vision eyeglass have more than 10 diopters correction, astigmatism and prism. I'm relieved that Zenni and WarbyParker, at least, are ethical enough to say "nope, we don't fulfill complicated prescriptions like yours."

ETA: Whoops! I followed your handy tour of green glasses, and saw that Zenni now does claim to fill prescriptions like mine. I shall investigate further!

I thought about adding a caveat re: complicated prescriptions and Zenni, and didn’t, partly because I haven’t used them in a few years and don’t know their current policies.

While I, personally, have been mostly satisfied with my orders from them, a lot of that is accepting that my Rx is cheap enough (and I pick cheap enough frames) that I am willing to accept unhappy purchases as a loss. I merge their cost in with savings on whichever successful pairs of glasses came out of the order, and I am still saving money over the boutique frames I always want to buy when I go through a brick and mortar optician. (I have expensive tastes in eyewear!)

I would be nervous using them for anything too finicky, unless the price point was low enough to allow me the same leeway.
