Casually mentioned in this intriguing post on another topic:

I assume you have noticed that House lives at 221B? (Or at least they used to. I haven't watched this season but I gather he now lives with Wilson.)

Yay, no, I hadn't noticed anything, because I've frankly found House canon to be annoyingly repetitive.

The thing is it completely undercuts my self-image as "someone who's really good at noticing details."

But given that I've capitulated and tipped into SGA, anything is possible.

The House-as-Holmes thing was something that I'd been told, and then completely forgotten, so it is not just you!

Where I think they went wrong: they gave House the cane, instead of Wilson, and thus conflated disability with addiction. When I watched the Holmes movie, this became clear to me-- Holmes is an addict. Watson limps.

Must be time to revisit Conan Doyle (I'm guessing it will be a very different experience 45 years later!)
