Following up on yesterday's post, I think I can follow other's peoples' tags using post notifications. I don't think if I can suppress posts.

To follow, I turn on post notifications by example.

1. At a relevant post, click the "alarm" or "track" link.

2. In the pop-up "email me when" click the "more options" button

3. At the resulting "Manage Message Settings" screen, the bottom offers
Track Entries to this Journal
Notify me in my DW Inbox when

One of the options will show
$name_of_journal posts a new entry tagged and then pick a tag from the dropdown menu.

Is this correct? Is there a way to suppress a post based on its tags?

I don't think you can use more than one filter at once. I don't know how typical my use case is, but I have a number of reading filters and everyone I subscribe to is in one or two of them. Then I check them at different intervals (I should rearrange them, actually, because posting frequencies have changed so much). Where I don't want to see all of someone's posts, I use the tag filtering option you describe above, but if I loaded my whole reading page instead of one filter at a time, I'd still see all that account's posts.

I have a politics tag, but as you've probably noticed I post very little about anything these days.
