Will wonders never cease?

I just contributed original content to a Tumblr post. The post is full of graphics, which I am too lazy to describe, so I winnowed it down to two paragraphs. Here's a tl;dr on eliminating things you don't want to read from your Archive of Our Own searches.

The "SORT and FILTER panel" contains a "Search within results." When you preface a keyword there with a minus sign, then fics with that keyword are eliminated from your search.

So:

-dubcon

hides any fics tagged "dubcon"

To filter out a phrase, enclose it within quotes.

-"pretend relationship"

filters out fics tagged “pretend relationship”

Air-conditioning is the dream; don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It's on my must-have list for the next time I move (sure to get crossed-off when I see really nice wood moldings or something).

I'm doing surprisingly okay. I always feel vaguely confused between health fiascos. You know? Like, what am I supposed to do with all my time? Obviously, I've filled that time with television, because I am nothing if not unproductive. :)

None! I hold down my own name everywhere, but don't engage. I can't stand the ideological purity fights. I do still use email. (Although much more of the Archives & Archivists Listserv...)

Let's see: Deutschland 1983 (Hulu), Handmaid's Tale (didn't work for me, honestly), The Last Tycoon (Amazon; would be a shoe book if it weren't Fitzgerald); The Americans (always and forever); This Is Us (I know... ); Man in the High Castle; 13 Reasons Why (incredibly slashy and I never say that, but AO3 huge disappointment). That's the last few months anyway. I saw that you recommended Travelers, something like that? I'll look again. Which I would like to check out, because I SO miss SGA and that type of scifi-lite show.

I share your enthusiasm for The Americans. Can you rec any fic in that universe?

Travelers is a step up from SGA.

ORPHAN BLACK is simply catnip. The show often loses the plot but Tatiana Maslany is a genius actor, and the human interaction is stuff I've never seen on TV before. Plus Canadian actor bingo.
